Hey man, I don't know that much about meditation but I've been taught some stuff that really helped me and I think it could help you too. There are many ways to practice meditation, if you don't feel comfortable with just focusing on nothing (which is damn near impossible for anyone who is starting) one very powerful thing you can do is just notice your thoughts. Don't fight them and try to only focus on breathing or on nothing at all. Notice when a thought crosses your mind, think it through, try to figure out where it's coming from, and when it goes away, let it go away and welcome anothee thought in your mind, and do the same. Let your thoughts "breathe", come and go. This will help you become more aware of your consciousness and hopefully help you sit more comfortably with yourself and nothing else. Doesn't have to be a long time right away, you can start with like 5 minutes a day, or whatever you like. It'll be hard I think, especially with your condition but I think the results are well worth it
