Fuck. No. Just no! Who controls your path? Some college advisor? No! You do. You decide what to do with your life. Not someone else. If you want to become an RN, no one gets to tell you that you can't do that. Or, they can tell you that, but only YOU decide if you follow that advice. And that's bullshit advice. You have got to do what you, the real YOU, knows you need to do. ''The mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation, and go to the grave with the song still in them.'' Man, I know too many people who spend ten years doing shit that never rang true to them. And finally one day they wake up and say, ''that's it. No more.'' And they start working toward what they want. Some go their whole lives without ever being true to themselves. So go be an RN if that's your chosen path. Yes, you will need to improve your speech. But if you DECIDE to take that path, then you can do that, too. Don't let anybody tell you what you can and can't do. Go be an incredible RN if that's your song. The world needs you. The real you.
