A way out I am yuvraj from India... I have stammering as long as I can remember and from past 2 years I have become more conscious of it may of the puberty... When I was in 7th grade a teacher helped me in speaking a maths table and on that I gained a lot of confidence I don't know how and after that I participated in many stage competitions all speaking and got merits... That was the time when I no longer think stammering as a problem and I was living a life full of confidence and know as I am recalling as I think that I do stutter at that phase also but it was very less or not a big deal to me as I was able to speak at public platforms and able to explain a whole chapter to my class... After 2 years I changed my school... I went there with same confidence everything was good but I was not taking participations in activities don't know why I wasn't afraid of speaking or anything like that... And in grade 9 I had a serious fight with one of my classmate and It affected me down to my nerves as from that moment onward I tried to be silent and that was the worst decision that I took... After that lockdown started and things changed drastically as I was becoming more conscious of my speaking problem and things were just getting worse with me... Then I took a speak therapy online it was good for couple of months but then I stopped practicing and even worse than before... Later I passed my senior secondary with good grades and now a few weeks ago I gave an English IELTS test that comprises of 4 parts one them was speaking I nailed all three sections except the speaking one although I did good but the blockage between the test can't let me have good marks in it... And now I am planning to retake the test in few weeks and I have decided to atleast reduce the time between the blockages so that I would be able to express my self... And now I am following a strict routine starting from some simple breathing and yoga exercises in morning then about 6 hours of speaking throughout the day... The speaking of 6 hours constitutes book reading, phone calls, video calls, advice from mentor be sending them videos... As I know it is possible but it just need sometime... Can anybody else give their suggestions
