You’re completely normal for feeling like that. I would look into joining a sports team or a club. Maybe something your friend’s already in. Dedicating yourself to something and becoming good at it can boost your confidence. And socializing outside of a school environment (even if it’s a school team). Anything to boost your confidence will be good. I know it helped me (I’m 17).
