Hey, I appreciate you being honest about it. Even I feel that she really needs to stand up for herself and not always make her stutters and anxiety dictate every moment of her life. Encourage her to seek professional help for her stutter and her anxiety. To me, this is more about her anxiety than her stuttering. It seems that she was teased or bullied a lot that she developed strong insecurities about herself and her stuttering growing up. Once her anxiety is addressed, then managing her stuttering can be the next time. Also, you hold so much frustration towards her that I don’t feel that you’re compatible with her. It depends how much more patience you have. Let her know that you still care a lot about her, but gently and firmly tell her that you can’t do everything for her and she needs to learn to step out of her comfort zone more, but try to not make your frustration show if possible.
