Has anyone here went on testosterone for gender affirming care? I'm a 14 year old who was assigned female at birth. I have a severe developmental stutter, and have had one since I started talking. I currently take focalin and prozac. I'll admit something I've never said publicly before: I'm confused about my gender, and I'm seriously considering talking testosterone when I'm 18. However, I've read many studies about it worsening your stutter. My last screening said that I stutter on 50% of my words (I think?), and I'm in the 98th percentile. This is something that would make me reconsider it. I haven't seen any studies about HRT on trans people. Has anyone had experience with this? Is it that serious?
