Hello all, I am a 37-year-old man from Cali and have been suffering from a mild sitter my under life. I believe I started stuttering when I was 7 or 8 years old. I did take some speech therapy when I was younger and was diagnosed as having a mild functional stutter. Another speech therapist told me that my stutter is a cause of trauma and I should look into CBT therapy. I hardly ever stutter but only in tense meetings or speeches to groups of people and I bet nervous. I just get blocked, that is the only form that affects me. I wanted to know if anyone can guide me in the right direction. I am even considering taking Tost Masters and my job requires me to give speeches in front of people. Please any help is appreciated!
