My SLP said she would probably classify me as someone with a moderate stutter but I've let it impact my life severely (before I started to work with her). I do analytics and reporting for a healthcare company with about 150 people in my office. There's quite a bit of verbal communication but it doesn't really cause me that much stress anymore. I still dread demo day if I have to give presentations in front of the company, but I just remind myself that almost everyone dreads public speaking, with a stutter or without a stutter. I've never had a negative reaction to my stutter at work and people are generally really interested to hear about it.
