Regarding Rilatin, the doctor/neurologist I am seeing conducted a study in Belgium (a small country in Europe) about Rilatin and stuttering. It seems that some people who stutter experienced improved fluency while taking the medication. That’s why he wants me to try it. The medication I am currently taking is a build-up medication, meaning I need to take it consistently to maintain its effects in my system. I’m wondering if this is the same with benzodiazepines. Can I decide to skip a dose—for instance, if I feel like taking a day off from the medication—or is it necessary to take it every day? Thanks.
