I'm really sorry you had these experiences. Bad people end up in all kinds of professions and it's not ok. So you know for the future, you can report their licence numbers to their governing bodies - that is why they are there. I know I'm not going to convince you to try one as a teen/adult, but there are some excellent therapeutic approaches that prioritize feelings and attitudes around stuttering ( aside from just management strategies) if you research them. You can also attend a local support group for people who stutter if you aren't interested in therapy...it really helps to know others going through it. Also if you listen to podcasts there is an excellent one called stuttertalk which has hundreds of episodes and really good discussion/guests.
