Sounds like it's worth a shot to me. The anxiety is the worst. I was dealing with a lot of that before the phone interview, and of course once the stuttering starts getting bad it just makes the anxiety worse, which puts your larynx into a reverse feedback loop, causing your speech waves to become encrypted...probably. I wish you the best and wish I had better (any) advice to offer. How about this: If you're in a high stutter potential situation just act like an asshole. Assholes don't seem to stutter. Put less tongue and cheekily, I stutter when talking to police officers and my dad; I don't stutter when talking to my niece or children in general. I'm not sure how these thoughts intersect. Maybe see if you stutter when being mean to children? On second thought, stick with the professional advice.
