I have the same thing as you, and I think most people refer to it as a stammer. Like you as well, I usually have trouble with words that start with vowels (especially wonderful that both my first and last names start with a vowel too!) Something I seem to do when I stammer is start talking without breathing in all the way first, which causes me to kind of "suck in air quickly" as I try to get past the block. So try to and get over that, I try to remember to take a deep breath before I start talking, and kind of make the first few words more "airy" as I start breathing out. Not sure if its the same way with you, but I think having good control over your breathing can be a big part of it. As for my next tip, I know it sounds silly, but I try to say things kinda off the cuff as much as I can. Though planning out what you're roughly gonna say can help a bit, I find worrying too much about what words might trip you up only makes the fear of stammering much worse. Your mind can be your worse enemy, and avoiding certain vowels or words by constantly worrying/thinking about them I'm sure puts alot of strain on your speaking anxiety. This kind of plays into having confidence and a IDAGF attitude about your speech impediment that you may have seen others talk about on this subreddit too. As I've gotten older (25 now), I've just stopped caring as much about my stammer and what people think about it. Not always thinking about it and possibly fucking up can be so freeing after you get used to it.
