Thank you so much for the kind words and understanding. To clarify, everyone from her friends, SLP’s, NSA and everyone else has been supportive and kind and speech therapy has always been provided. It’s just a concern that it seems in the medical and research community we are not recognized like we should be, in order to progress in science based therapies, treatments, and pharmaceuticals. I will attach a response from a Dr. Downey, a credible and impressive research leader in pediatrics. This is just a portion of our emails. She does a lot of research around pediatric depression and psychedelics. She was unaware of the small studies around stutter reduction with psychedelics or the suicidal ideation and depression that comes with stuttering. I made 11 calls after getting this email, to every public, private, non-profit and foundations that supported stuttering. Not a single person ever answered the phone or returned a call. I know you HATE it, I know my daughter hates it. I know people out there are completing suicide because of stuttering. I’m not saying I know there is a cure and I won’t stop until I find a cure. I’m saying there is a huge problem that not be addressed in medical research community. I know she’s not saying yes..let’s do it. But she was interested into looking into it
