Stuttering, dopamine and serotonin

Stuttering, dopamine and serotonin Some research I found showed that there appears to be a dysfunction in the stutterer's brain relating to dopamine - stutterers tend to have too much dopamine. Personally, I can attest to having a history of sleep troubles, reacting poorly to caffeine which opens the dopamine floodgates, being overly driven/goal oriented, and being mostly depressed from a happiness (and not a get-up-and-do-shit) standpoint. Personally, it feels as though my dopamine levels are extremely high, and my serotonin (dopamine antagonist) levels are low. The most "effective" pharmaceutical drugs for stuttering are dopamine antagonists. The brain's natural dopamine antagonist is serotonin, so I started experimenting with serotonin-boosting supplements. St. John's Wort is a serotonin boosting/anti depressant herb that I have been taking and it has not only IMPROVED my stuttering, but it has normalized the other issues discussed relating to dopamine. The best part is I still feel like pursuing my dreams. It hasnt made me content as a hindu cow, it just feels normal, like the "edge" has been taken off. I'll continue to experiment, because St. John's Wort has tannins in it which indirectly make stuttering more severe for a large % of the population, but has anyone had similar findings in this regard?
