more like a opposite case for me. less stutter around older family members, because i mask as a quiet person. they behave like a hive mind who freak out collectively whenever something reminds them that younger disabled people may exist nearby. i'm working on becoming independent so i can finally go no contact with everyone connected to the toxic hive mind.
