Stuttering is not a disability unless you let it be I cant say my name . I cant order what I want sometimes That's how I felt ... I felt disabled The word CANT is self decided . But I've learned through life that I am perfectly abled but it takes more work, psychologically physically and all in all more work than most people. Negative emotions and thoughts block us from acting proactively. I CAN say my name it just causes embarrassment and takes hard work I CAN order what I want it just takes a long time And after a while the embarrassment stops, you stop caring , you start improving, you become a stronger character when you face things. Ok we stutter big deal get over it . No one is going to help us like we can help ourselves . Seeking solace in others and engaging in non productive cry culture is for people who give up easy We need to go deep in ourselves and help ourself through HARD WORK. ...... Only hard work no other Avenue. No ice cream rewards just being able to talk if your lucky . But you get so much more in the process. You become a super human mentally. In the end of the day you will be harder tougher more self reflective more empathetic of others and a better person than if you had not been born with this gem of a struggle. It's a gift given to make you better , other people don't have it you do so embrace it . Have you ever seen someone with fake or no legs compete in a race? They have this gift Someone who is blind walk through a city ? They have this gift. And if so If they are able to compete are they really disabled ? Some would say they have mental fortitude 100x those other "just plain normal" racers . Being born w a stutter and achieving and going through life is like being born poor and making it despite being poor. Vs . Being born rich and coasting through life never thinking about a damn struggle at all . Which human would you rather be ? Good times are the greatest softeners. Be thankful for your stutter it's a private mental gym you get to train at everyday Get off the bench Stop crying Start working Other people dont need to recognize our trials & tribulations It's our inner lifelong struggle and our secret to being better
