You know, that's an excellent question. I don't think it was a specific moment, but a collection of events in which I put myself into a situation, stuttered, and realized afterward that I survived and didn't feel that bad. And the more I did it, the less bad it felt. Eventually it just felt natural, and instead of worrying that I might stutter in a situation, I acknowledged that I probably would-- but that that wouldn't be a bad thing.
