I watched it or more specifically I was heavily encourage by my folks to watch it. I'd say it was a good movie, but at the time I in heavy denial mode. There's also an HBO miniseries called I Claudius. It's a bit dated, but the story centered around the stuttering Claudius, who becomes the last "good" emperor of the Julian-Claudian Dynasty. I gave a presentation about him in Latin 3 class when we where covering Roman Emperors. It was one of the most fluent presentations I gave in high school too.
