SLP who wants to hear from people who stutter about therapy experiences Hi everyone. I've been a speech pathologist who has been working in the school system for 23 years and am actively contemplating starting my private practice with a sole focus on stuttering. I would really love to hear from adults who stutter on therapy experiences (as an adult)--what do you look for in a therapist? Do you prefer in person or zoom? How did you find your therapist? What's your biggest deterrent from seeking or sticking with therapy? I have more of a sense for how to approach my services with children, but certainly would love to work with adults as well. Thanks!
