>Saw a speech therapist in grade 3. Speech improved a bit but not by much. Haven't seen one since You definitely should see an speech therapist again. Even if it sucks, it can only help. >My speech now isn't great. Some days it's decent while others it is horrendous. Good days are a start, on what does it depend? Your mood? Random? >Never had a job due to horrible anxiety about my speech. Did you never have gotten a job because you didn't apply for one or because you were never taken by the employer? >No friends at college. I have 3 friends outside of school who I do not see too often. But I do talk to them through texting/IM. Can you talk in front of your friends? I skyped a lot with my friends (while playing Battlefield and Dota) and it definitely helped, too. >Never had a girlfriend. Haven't had a conversation with a girl since 2009. 5 years of no talking to a girl is a long time. I never had a real gf before, either, just a bit of dating, nothing more. I still have social anxiety, too, but i try to put myself in extreme situations to get over it (like going alone to a festival and try to meet new people). You should try to meet new people, even if it makes you uncomfortable. Ofc not that uncomfortable that you can't speak. >I'm nervous to do the most basic things in life. Like going shopping and ordering at a restaurant? Can't you speak in those situations at all? >Overall I'm not a happy camper That is a crucial point imo. You really need to get a positive attitude and a less negative view on your life. For me really helped going to the gym (i'm still out of shape, tho), driving motorcycle and listening to music.
