Could work, but I dont know the details. changing the pitch could reset the novelty, but you might get used to just hearing DAF in general. I'm not sure so I cant say. But I think it can be used as an effective situational tool. I didnt like it too much personally but others may not mind it and use it all the time. The cost of the app is MUCH cheaper than any in ear models so can easily be worth it.
