It was only a few days for you. It took me several months and I forgot any hope that anything would help me. One evening while speaking I just realized that I wasn’t stuttering. Side effects are very serious. Each of us has his own limit and benefit/cost criterion. I couldn’t sleep at all and developed restless legs. After discontinuing Abilify my speech remained fluent for about 18 months but has returned with a vengeance. I’m so miserable right now that I’ve again begun the Abilify regardless of any side effects I might get! I’m only on day 3 and NO side effects yet and it’s too early to realize any stuttering change.
