Anyone here any experience with xanex and it's affect, if any, on their stutter?

Anyone here any experience with xanex and it's affect, if any, on their stutter? I've had a mild stutter most of my life but it had gotten quite bad over the past 6 months, mainly due to stress/anxiety from college mainly. I went to the doctor today and he prescribed me xanex so I was wondering if anyone else here had any experience with the drug and if it helped or not?
