Employers are required to make reasonable accommodations for disabilities like stuttering. See this link: http://stutteringtreatment.org/the-americans-with-disabilities-act-what-it-means-to-people-who-stutter/. If they don’t they might be liable to lawsuits. I’m not saying to threaten suit but take look at the link and see if it might give you some ideas. You have rights under law and they have obligations under law. I’m a contracts attorney that has successfully hid my stuttering, but avoiding interaction with clients and bosses makes me sort of a “C team lawyer”. I’m 50 now but it would have better when younger for me to have worked with a therapist to minimize the avoidance my life sort of revolves around now - few friends and social activities. Constant social anxiety etc. My 2 cents.
