yeah the human brain can be pretty mean to itself but if I’m being honest some of these things you have to figure out on your own, like completely look into the way your thought processes go, your habits, subconscious patterns, etc it’s something that a therapist can help with or but it’s difficult with western culture in my opinion, but something that helped me was this meditation technique in where I get in a position wheee I can completely reload every muscle in my body(so usually laying down) and I close my eyes, take deep breaths, and vision my consciousness as a dim candle, and everytime my mind wanders into an idea or literary any thought I consciously capture it and breath myself back into baseline(that dim light candle) and repeat the process and you’ll get this feeling that your more so observing your thoughts then being them, and once you let your brain get out all it’s day by day thoughts you’ll eventually face your unconscious/deep subconscious thoughts It’s a lot but the good thing about it is there are so many ways to reach that state, life experiences, substances, near death stuff, list goes on but everyone is on their own journey so good luck
