I think one really important thing to remember is that speaking fluently would not make you any more "worthy" or "better" of a person. That's an easy trap for us to fall into and its something I have been struggling with as well. That being said, I understand the desire to be rid of your stutter. Just be careful of thinking that you'll never be happy unless you don't stutter. That is a choice of yours, not something you're "doomed" to experience.
