The whole job application process (application form, resumé submission, formal interview, etc) is all about weeding out candidates to find “the one we want to hire.” Disclosing on the application might give them an excuse to weed you out. Not to say noting it would, but it might. If you get past HR and get an interview with the hiring manager(s), they’ll notice your stutter. It’s up to you then to convince them of your experience, skills, etc. Go in with confidence; your stutter won’t matter to them if you present confidently that it doesn’t matter to you. And one more thing about interviews: give a strong, firm handshake and “look ‘em in the eyes” when you all are making introductions. First impressions go a long way.
