Foreign Languages and Stuttering

Foreign Languages and Stuttering As a bit of background, I'm 16 and from Colombia. Spanish is my first language but My family and I moved to the U.S. when I turned 7. I'm fluent in both languages yet when I converse in Spanish my stuttering is unmanageable! In English, however, it remains calm and fairly mild. No matter how many of the techniques I use it seems that my stuttering (more like blocking) in Spanish is becoming more and more unruly. Does anyone else have a similar problem? If anybody can provide some insight as to why this is, I'd be very appreciative! Any advice? I'd love to hear from the community!
