I am really comfortable talking about my stutter, it puts me at ease and I feel that it puts the listener at ease as well. I was in a meeting and we had to start with introductions. I introduced myself, then my stutter (something I joked they will see through out the meeting) and what I do. I would imagine if I had a physical disability I would do the same. “Hi, I’m Rokkitt, (holds up hand) yes.. I lose a fight with a power tool…” it removes the mystery and stops the looks.
