I had a stutter as a child and whenever I'm alone I speak a lot, I talk out loud all the time to myself and now that I'm an adult I don't really stutter much at all. I don't know if that would help you, I don't know if that even helped me, but my parents never would have put me into speech therapy or offered any help for it. I'm sorry that people cut you off, there's a 10 and 1/2 year age gap between my oldest child and my middle child, who also has a stutter, and I often find her speaking over him or cutting him off and I'm trying to constantly correct her from doing that, but I can imagine how hard that must be for you and I'm very sorry that you're dealing with that.
