As someone who has done a fair bit of research but nothing terribly academic I can say there is a shocking void of information regarding why a stutter occurs and anything resembling a cure besides frequent therapy. It’s hard to say whether or not a cure is possible. As science currently stand a cure is not possible. Stuttering being a neurological disorder for almost all stutterers and not a phycological one, to “fix” it you would need some way to tamper with the brain. We just don’t have that kind of knowledge right now as far as I know. The way I’ve seen it, most public information regarding stuttering, most things outside of a textbook deal in the psychological trauma a stutter can bring and how to avoid it and how to act with a stutterer etc. I really wish there was more out there but for those without a PhD there just isn’t
