Tbh I usually use “um ah” as a way for me to build off my sentence. For example, “Um ah, do you have a package for… or “Um ah, is today Friday?”. For me making the sentence as short as possible without stuttering too much helps a lot. I know that using um is not the best thing, but it’s a start. Better to get the words out one way, then not at all.
