Nice work!! So proud of you. I have similar experience too! Nurse Practitioner and Teaches at grad school level, Was really bad stutterer in high school- like severe. The Aha moment for me was me thinking “You know what I am done being controlled by my stutter, I dont care anymore, I am just gonna speak my mind” Still remember my first presentation in front of all my classmates at university level. When everyone followed a fixed script, I just got on the podium and spoke my mind about the topic. They all thought I was way cool, but deep in my mind I knew I could not follow a script, lol I never have to look back from that day! Now have to help my son to achieve that- he is 5 and a stutterer. Not self aware yet!!
