As someone who stutters, and also had multiple long term relationships and also dated multiple girls, I completely disagree with this post. The McDonalds kiosk thing, they are there for convenience, not for someone who stutters, plenty of people use them that don’t stutter, does that mean they’ve no confidence and it will repulse girls? I don’t think so. Girls even use them In my opinion, the thing that helps the most is attraction. If the attraction is there, they won’t care about the stutter and they absolutely won’t care whether you use a kiosk or order at the register. If the attraction isn’t there, then maybe the stutter will be a subconscious issue for them. Someone who stutters will automatically overthink it and blame the stutter if a girl isn’t interested, trying their best think of all the reasons why the stutter was the issue and nothing to do with their personality or other reasons. I’ve no doubts it’s an issue for some girls, the odd one, but most of them, don’t give a shit and they definitely don’t care wether you order food at a kiosk or not. I’ve never had anyone flat out tell me the stutter was an issue.
