How has stuttering influenced your dating life? As the title says I would like to know how your stutter has influenced your dating life. I will start with my own story. I'm 28 years old and so far I've only had one long term relationship. This ended 5 years ago and since that time I've been single. My severe stuttering has made it very hard for me to get into the dating game. It's hard enough for me to socialize with the people I know. Approaching and flirting with girls feels impossible to me. I do admit I use my stutter as a convenient excuse not to take action to change that. I'm not really sure how to overcome that.
