None. This may sound crazy or insensitive, but stuttering is a weird thing. Most people don't do it, so it looks crazy when we do. I don't blame people for wondering wtf is wrong and cutting the tension with an insensitive comment or other action. Here's the thing: if you let other people ruin your day, man, your life is going to be so incredibly negative. You have to decide to make it a great day. You have to take control of that. If you let the world determine your day...shit. That isn't going to work. It's too negative, it's too toxic. Or at least if you're not in a good headspace, that is what you'll see in the world. At least, all of that is my experience. Other people can't fuck up my day anymore. I do not give them that power. (Fwiw, my favorite comment was a military pilot who, in the middle of a conversation years ago said, ''I've noticed you stutter. What is the best response for me when you're stuttering?'' Just straight to the point, razor sharp question.)
