Yeah it is definitely speech related, i have developed a lot of anxiety around introducing myself to people because i have started to block on my own name. I've been stuttering for years but i began to have problems with my name since late 2013. The anxiety builds up when i am anticipating it, for example i start college this Wednesday and i am already freaking out about introducing myself to people. I've been in situations where i am talking to someone new and all i can think of is how i am going to pronounce my name when they ask, and from that i start having small panic attacks which is just stressful and pathetic. I want to stop anticipating blocking and relax my head, because usually i dont block when the questions are sprung onto me without me thinking about it first.
