I remember this movie! We had to watch it in my 8th grade history class and every time the stuttering character came on screen, I was dying of embarrassment since everyone in my class knew I had a stutter too. :( Another movie that comes to mind is My Cousin Vinny, where there's a lawyer with a severe stutter who is used as a joke. And of course, Porky Pig. Even in one of my classes in college, people still tried to use a stutter as a joke. I was in a group that had to write and perform a skit for a leadership class, and one of my classmates came up with a character that was a shy, awkward nerd with a stutter that was meant to be the comedic relief. I had to pull him aside one day and explain to him why I didn't think that was funny, and he immediately felt bad.
