How it was presented is what I found demoralizing. I was being treated as a "stutter" and like it was a novelty. I could accept it being a fetish as long as I wasn't treated like a pure novelty act. As per what the elaboration that you likely wanted, the most telling conversation was, "You're s-s-stu-tter is s-s-sexy... and cute" the stutter being deliberate and mocking.
