People's experience with advertising their stuttering

People's experience with advertising their stuttering Hey there, I'm new here and somewhat new to speech therapy in general. My therapist recently brought up the concept of "advertising" your stuttering (stuttering deliberately to decrease tension) and i found the idea really interesting/perplexing. On the surface it seems counter-intuitive and crazy. I came into speech therapy to reduce my stuttering not stutter more. But despite this craziness, advertising is a very recommended technique. So basically, I want to ask people who used advertising for their thoughts and experiences with advertising.
