The phone is hard!! Whenever I call a business or talk to someone I don't know the first thing I do is tell them I stutter on the phone. I say that I might be a bit hard to understand or it might sound like the phone is cutting out, but its just my stutter. I find it makes a world of difference! People are actually very understanding if you give them the chance to be. 99% of the time they say, oh no problem, take your time, or no worries or something like that. Try it, you might be surprised how much easier it is for both you and the listener!
