Very well said! A good way to get over your fear of stuttering in front of others is to voluntarily stutter during conversation. Yes that's right... voluntarily stutter. During a 2 week intensive stuttering clinic at the University of Toledo, we would walk up to random people around campus and ask them questions from a survey. While asking questions we were supposed to stutter... on purpose. At first this seemed like a crazy request, but it did an incredible job of decreasing the fear out of stuttering and seeing others see me stutter.
