Why am I worse in groups? What is the best level of fluency I can hope for? Moderate stutterer here. I've worked through and beaten alot of it. I can now sing/rap give presentations say my name etc. I can even talk to people on the phone or one on one quite well. Alot of it is through intentional control though. My biggest thing though is being in groups of fast talking people. I get anxious quickly and in order to get a word in I fail miserably. if you were to talk to me one on one vs in a group I'd be a completely different person. It really kills my social game cuz I can't make jokes, tell stories etc. Will it always be like this? If I've overcome the other aspects why can't I overcome this aspect? What do I do? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
