Its based on a lot of research and results, which is main thing you look for when looking at programs for stutters. I saw a local speech pathologist here, and two weeks later at our next meeting, She came back with the Camperdown Program. She was getting a lot of information, feedback and help from Sydney University, While we worked on the program for 12weeks, weekly one hour sessions. Overall it was good experience and it helped a lot, It would of been amazing if we could of kept doing it for longer..but waiting lists and lack of private health care put a stop to that. My speech pathologist always said, if i could afford it, do it over Skype with them or go to SYD university, being taught by people who train and do only this program would bring even better results and experiences. The time i spend with my speech pathologist was amazing, She was kind, on top of her game, patience and just being in the same room with somebody like that sometimes made me forget i had a stutter! I will say sorry for my grammar, since I'm quite on pain meds, had surgery a few days ago, now i go kill things in WoW!
