Never! I have a moderate/severe stutter but also a wonderful career as a CPA, live on a lake, am a wildlife photographer, have been married over 40 years, have 3 grown sons, 2 daughters-in-law and an amazing toddler grandson. My stutter doesn't define me. Do I have shitty days? Yes. Do I face challenges and stress because I stutter? Yes. Everyone in this world has problems/deficiencies but ours is just harder to hide. I would be surprised if there is any correlation between stuttering and suicide, but maybe I'm naive. Anyone whose stutter is impacting them that negatively should absolutely get help. It might even help just to have trusted people that you can confide in. I hope everyone in this community is looking after their mental health. I know that we can't always control our thoughts and feelings, but therapy and medication is available. Please love yourselves.
