Stutter recently flared up Hey all, So basically in the last like 4 weeks my stutter has flared up quite a bit. It's strange, because I think it's related to stress and anxiety in general, but also specifically related to my stutter. Essentially I'm getting married in like 2 weeks, and I'm also fasting because it's Ramadhan. Couple this with sleep deprivation because I'm fasting, and I guess it makes sense why I've started stuttering more I've booked speech therapy for a few weeks from now so hopefully that should help. Thing is, I've started stuttering on words that I've never stuttered on before and I've also become much more open with my family about my stutter. Turns out, my Dad also had a stutter as a young adult and went for vocal training. My uncle and grandad both also have stutters, so it's at least partially genetic Does anyone have any particular tips? So far I've tried diaphragmatic breathing and speaking slowly but I just get stuck on blocks and prolongations for longer. Currently trying stuff like easy onset as well, but I was wondering how you guys cope with the bad days
