I don’t stutter when I disassociate I’m in my early 20s. I’m starting to notice that when my parents argue I become insanely fluent. I’m talking 100% fluency. I get into a state of calmness with a sullen, serious, calm voice, where I cannot stutter even if I tried. It leads me to believe that my stuttering is related to an internal state of tension, that gets untied when I let go of any hope to fix them. Does anyone have experience with this? Can you point me towards further research?
