I promise you it ***does*** get better, but you must do the work. If you have insurance, see a mental health professional. You’ll eventually learn to separate stuttering from anxiety. I’m 37 now, happily married, and have lots of friends (I’m promise I’m not trying to brag…I want you to know that you can do it, too). I’ll *always* have a mild-to-moderate stutter, but everyone knows me as the outgoing chatterbox who won’t shut up. Seeking a metal health professional is the best thing I’ve ever done for my well-being.
