Actually, several circles (including McGuire Programme) involve deliberate disfluency, meaning that you purposely stutter when you don't feel like to. For most of us in this subreddit it sounds appalling, but it can also be a powerful soother in stressful situations and can prevent real, uncontrollable speech blocks. Now you might wonder, where's the sense in that? But if you look closely, you'll see that when a person maintains good posture, eye contact and deep voice and stutters without blinking, slouching, contorting face, his/her stuttered speech seems nonchalant to outsiders. Body language plays more important role in communication than the actual verbal part. Still, I'm very curious about the outcome of your experiment.
