Interesting research conducted by a leading stuttering researcher - Dr Gerald Maguire Dr Maguire (a board-certified psychiatrist) claims that he has treated his stutter for almost 2 decades with the use of certain medications, and has also made a presentation talking about this in further detail. I have learnt a lot from this and believe that it may be highly beneficial for a lot of other people on here. **He also claims that Stuttering can be treated already**, although no medication has been FDA-approved due to a number of reasons relating to the costs of conducting studies and pharmaceutical politics, which he talks about in his presentation.
